Reached by a 200 yard private drive, they make an excellent holiday base for visiting the city, whilst returning to a country retreat. The city of York offers a variety of attractions - the ancient minster, city walls and beautiful architecture, together with a variety of museums, including the National Railway Museum, Castle Museum and Jorvik Viking Centre.
