Stepping down two steps, dine in style then sink into comfortable sofas in the spacious and light filled lounge/diner where underfloor heating keeps the flagstone floor warm and cosy. Pluck a book from the bookcase or switch on the TV and unwind, if the sun shines through, open the patio doors and let the fresh air inside. Character flows through into the bedroom, a lovely spot in which to drift off and dream or slip into the provided bath robes and put your feet up in the armchair. Majestic oak and horse chestnut trees dot the garden which is beautifully kept. Head up the blossom-lined driveway when arriving at the lodge which sits in 15 acres of the owner’s garden where their property can also be found. The private patio to the side has ample bench seating, fire up the BBQ and watch your four-legged friend chase their tail under the sun. A newly added rattan swing seat is the perfect place to sit, fully relax, and gaze over the gardens. The adjoining large field is left as natural grasslands with a mown pathway around the perimeter, perfect for leisurely walks from the door. This is a 'Dark skies' area and on a clear night you can expect to see the Milky Way, major constellations, bright nebulas and even meteor showers. Ample off-road parking is available.
