A little further along the coast, the charming town of Bude (8.5 miles) offers classic seaside appeal, including a sea swimming pool and the sandy shores of Summerleaze Beach. In the opposite direction, the mystical village of Tintagel (11 miles) is well worth exploring via the South West Coast Path, famed for its dramatic castle and legendary history. En route, stop at Boscastle (7.5 miles) to visit the intriguing Museum of Witchcraft and Magic.
