Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The property itself was fine and in a lovely location. However, it was not located where we believed it would be when booking. I made the reservation after checking the address provided on Booking.com, which indicated that the property was very close to the area we wanted to stay in. However, after speaking with the host, it became clear that part of the location information had been omitted from the listing. The property we had actually booked was approximately 15 miles further away than expected. This caused a significant amount of unnecessary stress during our trip, as well as additional travel time and expense that we had not planned for. Had the location been accurately displayed on the listing, we would have made a different booking decision.

Negative: The kids were freaked out by the CCTV. After we made a booking, there was a small note that there is CCTV in the house, which was totally fine as I have CCTV at my house too, however CCTV was not only on the outside but also inside which made you feel a little bit like Big Brother House. Luckily we didn't stay in the house very long, but the camera on the landing between the bedrooms and bathroom was really uncomfortable.

Summary: Nice just not where we thought we would be.
