Positive: The location is a good base to explore the rest of Altea the views from the porch are excellent and the location of a very pebbly beach is as close as you can get.

Negative: The beach is very pebbly and painful under foot if you try to walk on it as we did. The apartment could do with a good painting and the small screw holes in the walls filling in, we could have done with a coffee table, and the kitchen would be spot on if there was a dishwasher. As we have stayed there before we noticed there is no tin opener and no garlic press so we brought them with us. As we drive over np for us if weight is a problem when your flying would be a nice addition.
