Beautiful views from this island home with access to a small private beach and easy access to a large public beach (Fowler's Beach). Views from multiple areas of the house, can see Fowler's beach from the Master Bedroom and Kitchen, can see Peaks Island, Portland Harbor, and Great Diamond Island from Dining Room and Deck. 3 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Ranch Style Home with large deck for outdoor dining and sun awning. There are bicycles and kayaks provided for outdoor activities, along with a large yard perfect for a family rental. Other activities including walking one of the amazing beaches searching for sea glass, swimming, bike riding, watching the sunset, cooking fresh lobster, and relaxing. WiFi is available at the house. Long Island is located just of the coast of Portland, access by ferry from Old Port. Ferry supplied by the Casco Bay Lines, running frequently, and takes about 45 minutes. There is also Water Taxi service to Long Island that operates 24/7. The island offers multiple beautiful beaches in this small area, other activities include bike rides, library with internet access, playground, wildlife viewing, and fresh lobster. Long Island has multiple white sand beautiful beaches for you to enjoy on the island that is 2 ½ miles long and ½ mile wide. There are two general stores for modest needs and some groceries. The island is a slow paced life style but you can always take the ferry to Portland for some great restaurants, pubs, shopping, museums, and other great activities.
