Summary: This hotel has so much potential because at first glance it’s absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, a few things really let it down during our stay. The pool area was quite grubby, with broken tiles in the hot tub and the pool itself looking dirty. When I mentioned it to staff, I was told they didn’t currently have anyone to clean the pool, which honestly showed as it looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Our room itself was lovely and nicely presented, but we were disappointed by the shower and bath only having lukewarm water. Other guests in our party also experienced the same issue and complained about it too. The bar area is really nice and decorated tastefully, which adds to the overall charm of the hotel. However, the ground floor toilets were also dirty, and across the two days we stayed I didn’t see any cleaners around at all. It’s a shame because the hotel could be amazing with better upkeep and attention to cleanliness and maintenance
