Positive: On the one hand, this is a clean, quiet, and comfortable duplex apartment, fully equipped and with convenient parking. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. A car is essential, as the village has no shops, though there is a nearby campground restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. The location is excellent for accessing spectacular hiking trails, each about 1-2 hours away by car. The apartment sits on a working farm with cows and goats, which evoked for me fond childhood memories.

Negative: On the other hand, although highly subjective, we found the double bed’s mattress far too soft for our comfort, making it difficult to sleep well. We ended up using the second bedroom with two twin beds, which were only marginally more comfortable. Unfortunately, they were fixed to the wall and couldn’t be pushed together - not what we had expected. Again, this is subjective and personal.

Summary: Comfortable and pleasant place, far off the beaten path
