Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Juan is super helpful, organized and responsive. He brought us everything we needed and dropped us back and forth from the airport and center of Malaga for a very reasonable fee. The view is incredible. The pool and the layout of the house it great. I was absolutely blown away waking up to it each morning. It is a rural house so the style is old fashioned, which is what you expect, but works well and is functional. The are loads of spots to sit, ample sun loungers and so many beds. We had the best time, and I would definitely book again.

Negative: There are a lot of things that are broken. We all live in Spain so we know how rural houses are and we found it quite funny. It did not impact our enjoyment at all but if I was to provide some notes, here they are: Door to the main bathroom and bedroom right next to it do not close. No shower curtain in main bathroom which floods the whole room. The waterfall in the pool wasn't working reliably (Juan was in the process of having it fixed while we were there and again this did not bother us) Jacuzzi button was broken. Kitchenware is limited i.e. there were no wine glasses (Juan brought us some when we asked) the fry pans are pretty old and tired. Basic things that I would expect to be provided were sometimes available and sometimes not. There was no soap in any of the bathrooms (hand or body), there were dishwasher tablets but nothing for the washing machine, no tea towel to dry anything. We ran out of toilet paper and dishwashing detergent and Juan kindly brought us more when we asked. It is a very isolated location and we didn't have a car so I think these things being provided would have improved the stay. At the end of the day, the house is great value for money and Juan made it a real joy to be there. Muchas gracias Juan!
