Just a few miles to Clemson Stadium and only minutes to our historic downtown, and Lake Keowee! When you are home, help yourself to the array of entertainment options, including games, two large-screen TVs, and a pool table! Plan to unwind and barbecue in our large, wooded, private yard! We have tried to think of everything our guests might need during their stay. However, if there are any questions or concerns, please reach out and we will do what we can to address your needs or questions. We also appreciate communication about any items missing, broken, or in need of replenishment.

PROPERTY INFORMATION

CHECK IN: 3pm or later on day of arrival
CHECK OUT: By 11am day of departure

House Access: Please use the four-digit code provided prior to check-in followed by the checkmark symbol. Access to the door is at the front of the house.

Parking: On-site parking is in the paved driveway.
You can also park alongside the street in front of the home. Please be considerate of neighbors and do not block any driveways or park in front of No Parking signs.

Guest Kit: For your convenience, a starter kit is provided to ensure that some basics are available for each guest upon arrival such as dish sponge & soap, and trash bags. Other items may be provided.
Main Level TV: TV operates off a single Insignia control.
Lower-Level TV: TV operates off a single Insignia remote control.

If using streaming services, please remember to log out of your account(s) prior to departure!

Kitchen: Several small appliances such as a can opener, wine opener, Keurig, and toaster are provided. The cupboards contain dishes, utensils, cookware, cups/mugs, and wine glasses.

PROPERTY INFORMATION

Towels: Please hang wet towels to dry, do not leave them on floors! Some hooks are provided on the back of the bedroom doors. If you wish to wash towels, please fold and return all towels from where they came before departure. Please do not use bathroom towels for cleaning, hair dyes, etc. and do not use bleach. Makeup facecloths are available in each bathroom for your use.

Laundry Room: Located on the main level. Please empty the dryer filter of lint after EACH use! Not doing so can be a fire hazard. Feel free to use any available detergents and dryer sheets, if available.

Vacuum: Located in the storage room on the lower level. Please ensure the vacuum is returned to its proper locations after use.

Trash:
• All trash MUST BE PUT INTO KITCHEN-SIZE PLASTIC BAGS before depositing in trash cans - NO LOOSE TRASH. Loose trash that is not picked up will incur a $50 fee.
• Trash will be picked up at the end of the driveway on Tuesday mornings. Kitchen garbage bags are available in the cabinet under the faucet area. Please place your trash in the green can outside on Monday evening.

Air Conditioning/Heating:
• The main, lower, and loft levels operate as traditional thermostats.
• The main floor is traditionally set at 74 degrees during the summer months and 70 degrees during the cooler months. The main floor significantly heats up due to the sun during the afternoons so use of the blackout curtains is highly recommended during these periods. The lower level is often cool enough due to “underground” location.
• Please respect usage and keep exterior doors closed to minimize waste, Thank you!

Fireplace: Inside fireplaces on the main and lower levels are available for use seasonally. Please use the remote control provided for each propane fireplace and reach out if any questions.

Blankets: Extra blankets are available in the closet in each room. If used, please leave out so that the cleaning service is aware.

Dishes/Sink/Disposal:
• Garbage disposal switch is located on the right side of the faucet.
• Dish soap is stored in the cabinet beneath the faucet.
• Dishwasher detergent cubes are in the cabinet beneath the faucet. Select the POWER button, then START and the pre-selected wash cycle will begin.
• Dish towels are to the right of the sink in the drawer.

CHECKOUT PROCEDURES

1) Refrigerator/Freezer: Upon departure, clear the refrigerator and freezer of all food and drink items.

2) Pantry: Please remove all food items from the pantry and spice area (the exception is the salt/pepper/sugar/coffee provided). If you choose to leave any unopened items, please leave it on the kitchen island upon departure.

3) Dishes/Dishwasher: Please wash all dishes and return to appropriate placement before
departure, including emptying the dishwasher. Please allow enough time for the washer to run, dry, and be emptied before departure (60-90 mins).

4) Bed sheets: Please remove pillowcases and flat/fitted sheets and PLACE IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM ON MAIN LEVEL.

5) Bath/Kitchen Towels: Place all used bathroom towels and kitchen hand/wash towels in a pile IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM ON MAIN LEVEL. If you can wash/dry some/all used towels before departure, this is very much appreciated to help with multiple loads if all/nearly all are used!

6) Your “wet/dry” items: There are additional hooks in each bathroom for your wet items. Your support in keeping wet items off the floors and rugs is appreciated!

7) TV/Fan Remotes: Ensure these are returned to their respective locations.

8) Games: Return all used items to their proper location in the lower level.

9) Trash/Recycle: Please check that trash cans are at the side of the driveway. If full, then ensure tightly closed and on top of the can. Thank you!

10) Lock Up: Turn off all lights and ceiling fans. Lock all doors upon departure, front door (main level), and back door (lower level). Please text Brittany if you are departing early (before 8:30 am of departure day or prior) as this may provide the cleaning service an opportunity to arrive before 11 am.

Check all closets, cabinets, shelves, and drawers used to ensure no items are left behind!

Water Shutoff Valve: The House shutoff is in the storage room on the lower level behind the water heater. There is also a main shutoff in the front yard.
