Summary: The cabin and property was nice. I liked that there was WiFi as well so my daughter could watch movies. The fishing was not the best but we went to other areas near and had decent fishing. I rated it two stars as when we arrived the house was 80 degrees and on the hottest day of the year. I feel that knowing you are having guest the a/c should be turned on so the house is comfortable for guest when they arrived. There was only the one window unit so it took over night for the house to cool down. And the upstairs bedroom needs a unit as well as it never really cooled off in the room. The downstairs shower didn’t hardly run right when the water was set to hot so we just used the upstairs the whole time which isn’t easy when you have a kid. We also had to buy charcoal/lighter fluid for the grill which I feel should be there for guest to use not to have to buy as it’s an amenity included in the cabin. I also feel that for the money I spent for 5 days washer/dryer should be allowed for use as we are staying for a while and need clean clothes and have a child with us. Along with fees spent taking garbage to a dump for 5 a bag should not be a necessity for guest to have to do in my opinion. Yes guest should clean up after themselves but all of the places have stayed paying for garbage to be dumped was never in my fees. There has always been a garbage can that the host pays for or a dumpster near for garbage. I have never had to pay for my garbage to be dumped.
