Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Easy check-in and communication with hostess via phone and What’sApp. First reaction to the apartment “Darling!” Very nice tourist apt. Bedroom separated from living space by slider. Good sized bathroom with shower. Good location to explore Torrelavega and the coast. At the edge of the main pedestrian areas so quick walk to restaurants, bars and stores. Less than 15 min walk from the bus station and about 4 or 5 min to the FEVE narrow-gauge station from which you can explore the coast. Good storage spaces / closets so we could unpack and feel more at home during our 1-week stay. Fairly quiet. Occasionally we could hear neighbors or traffic, but noise was not an issue.

Negative: This is not a complaint. Just something to be mindful of. My wife fell once as we were exiting the apartment to go for a walk through town. There is an inclined step up into the foyer from the stairwell / elevator area. The color of the floor blends in so if you are not paying attention it could be a tripping hazard.
