The original English garden was designed by famous landscape architect Charles Gillette and has been recently updated with a gorgeous in ground pool. This stunning 2900 sq ft home is nestled on an acre lot directly across from a lovely 13 acre episcopal church (built in 1860 also by Ginter).
The home features three large bedrooms on the 1st floor and a smaller kids room up the tiny stairs in what was once the staff quarters. Each bedroom has a large streaming TV. The two full baths are on the 1st floor, one equipped with a hot tub. Outside is a large guesthouse where the owner lives, a koi pond with waterfall, an inviting southern front porch with a view of the church, a fenced in yard with patio and an English garden with in-ground pool. The unheated salt water pool stays open year round if you dare. This amazing home has 10 foot ceilings, original wood built ins, wide plank floors, 6 fireplaces and a fully equipped eat-in kitchen. There is a lovely foyer with archways leading to both the formal dining and living room. The back of the house has been renovated with a sun-room facing the exquisite garden and pool. This room has a 65" TV with Xfinity cable. All TV's have Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Prime and Apple streaming.
You will have the entire home, the driveway, the front and backyard and the pool all to yourself. There is additional parking available off street. Occasionally you might see the owner doing maintenance, dog walking, or yard work.
