Summary: This hostal is in the city center, the staff was amazing, the facilities are very clean and maintained. The room had a small fridge and air conditioner and the room and bathroom were spotless! The only downside was parking, however there’s a public parking lot about a quarter a mile away.

Summary: We stayed for one night and enjoyed the view of the castle from our balcony. The mattress could have been more comfortable.

Summary: Alora is a bustling little town nestled on a hill and the room I had overlooked the old Moorish fort on the adjoining hill. Beautiful ! The hotel was basic but spotlessly clean and the owners Paco and Monica were lovely. And great value for the single traveller

Perfect for a restful night andb siesta time.

Summary: The property is hosted by a friendly family. The check in and communication were easy. The rooms were very basic but clean and comfortable. The views were lovely from our room. Our friends had a bathroom with a plumbing issue and it was smelly.

Summary: The property was lovely blended in with the surroundings.
Had a real Spanish feel about it not modern or false. The furniture and decor was orriginal. Simple room but adequate for my overnight stay. Comfy bed and plenty of hot water in the bath/shower combo.
Great balcony had a superb view overlooking the castle an the mountains in the.background.
Staff were friendly an helpful.
Close to the town square and thd bars an shops
Only downside perhaps a kettle in the room to make a coffee or tea.
Some people would prefer more amenities but for me it was perfect.
Would recommend it to anyone looking for a break living among the local people, proper Spanish.
Alora is a lovely town and will definitely be back and stay at hostel Duran.
