Welcome to Nomad Ranch! Nomad Rio Escondido is an idyllic 8 acres with over 300 feet of stunning secluded Nueces River frontage. Nomad offers rustic relaxation under the many amazing oaks, breathtaking views, wildlife watching and did we mention the crystal-clear running waters and natural springs of the Nueces! Nomad Rio Escondido sleeps 7 and has an array of indoor and outdoor amenities including kayaks, hammocks, river chairs and fire pits, to name a few.
Nomad Ranch has plenty of space for both fun and relaxation on it's sprawling 8 acres. Relax in the sitting areas inside of the home, the front patio, around the fire pits, and of course, on a chair in the middle of the beautiful Nueces River. Explore up and down the river to find your perfect swimming hole and natural spring along the property.
Rio Escondido cottage is 640 sq. ft. and offers three bedrooms {one sleeping loft}, one bath, sleeps 8. Two queens, four singles. Nestled near the largest Oak on the property, Rio Escondido has a full kitchen, living room and a front porch overlooking the river. Just outside the cottage doors is Nomad's rustic open air barn, perfect for relaxing, playing games and dining. Rio Escondido is approximately 250 yards from River Rock. For additional accommodations, search Nomad River Rock (sleeps 10). Note this is a multi dwelling property therefor there may be other guests on property during your stay.
*Note: Nomad is a rural 8 acre property in the Texas Hill County on the river. There may be animals and insects you are not used to encountering i.e. scorpions, spiders, snakes, bees, mice, wild pigs, deer. You may also see bunnies, kittens, goats and hummingbirds amongst other wild animals. Please keep this in mind when considering travel to the Hill Country and river. Summary: My granddaughters family and I enjoyed our "rivertime" at Nomad Ranch. The location is great with huge trees, views, and cool, clear water. The house had all we needed but might seem small for some guests. Since I am retired and have downsized, I know how to manage and deal with space.Would return anytime.
