3 Bedroom Villa in Jesus Pobre
Ideal for couples, families and golfers, this completely refurbished, spacious, air-conditioned finca comfortably accommodates six adults (or four adults and three children) and consists of a spacious hallway leading to a large split level dining/sitting room with a mixture of contemporary and antique furnishings, feature fireplace and wooden beams opening into a covered naja with comfortable rattan sofas, drinks server (with wine cooler and ice-maker) and large picture windows with views across the valley. The naja opens onto a large terrace with a mosaic topped wrought iron table and chairs and separate seating area which leads down to the pool and sunbathing area, side and rear terraces and garden with tropical plants and fruit trees.
On the ground floor there are two spacious bedrooms, one twin (extra fold-away bed available on request) with en suite shower room and a double bedroom with a large family bathroom with bath and shower next door. There is a second shower room and toilet beside the naja. A staircase leads up to the first floor where there is another bedroom with king size bed with en suite shower room and dressing area. All bedrooms are furnished in the traditional style with wrought iron bedsteads and locally crafted wooden furniture, have fitted wardrobes, blackout blinds, air conditioning and central heating. All rooms have wonderful views of the Montgo mountain and the surrounding countryside. Bedlinen and bath towels are provided.
The finca has a fully equipped modern kitchen with granite counters, gas hob, electric oven, microwave/oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a washing machine, dryer and outside drying area. The kitchen opens onto a rear terrace with gas BBQ and Grill with table and chairs.The floor space of the house is 152 m sq.
Outside is a large private garden, surrounding terraces with steps and pool area of another 52 m sq. The pool is kidney-shaped and measures approximately 10m x 6m. Please note that because of open access to the pool area, this property is not suitable for children who cannot swim.
The house is surrounded by the Montgo National Park, a conservation area, rich in flora and fauna and close to the Eye of the Montgo (a large Neolithic Cave). The area is known for its numerous hiking trails stretching between La Xara and Xabia. One of these trails is immediately outside the house where you can enjoy a pleasant and easy walk across towards La Sella and the La Xara.
The property has two TV screens (32' and 42') providing numerous Sky, Spanish and Astra TV channels. Wifi Internet access is available.
There is ample parking for several cars in the driveway kept secure with electric gates.
The pretty villages of La Xara and Jesus Pobre (supermarket ,bank, chemist, bars) and the 27 hole course and Spa at La Sella Golf Club are 5 minutes away. The finca is also well situated for visits to Gate de Gorgos, famous for its basket ware and the larger towns of Teulada and Moraira
Beaches:
Denia - Les Marines, 20km of soft, golden sands with gentle shelving and warm waters. Water sports available.
Les Marines is a very popular area with cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance of the beach.
Xabia - The Arenal, a large sandy beach with a pleasant promenade and cafes, restaurants and shops. Boat trips up and down the coast are available.
Water sports:
Denia - windsurfing, jet-skiing, paragliding are available at Les Marines beach. Sailing can be organized at Denia Yacht Club which is open to the public and has a pleasant Tapas restaurant overlooking the marina and also a heated swimming pool which is open all year round.
Fun Days Out:
Benidorm - Aqualandia, Terra Mitica and Mundo Mar theme parks are a half hour drive away.
Vergel - Safari Park
Collosa d'En Sarria near Moraira - Fonts D'Algar (freshwater springs)
Guadalest - El Castell de Guadalest inland from Benidorm.
The nearest beaches are north of Denia towards Oliva at Les Marines, 20km of soft, golden sand with gentle shelving and warm water. Water sports are available. Les Marines is a very popular area with cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance of the beach and Playa de Marineta Cassiana a golden sandy beach with easy access to numerous bars and restaurants nearby.
South of Denia New Marina there is a coastal walkway that leads to the dramatic rocky coastline of Les Rotes a quieter area perfect for sunbathing on the rocks and excellent snorkeling. Enjoy drink and tapas at Helios bar by the sea or a delicious lunch at the many restaurants along the route.
Xabia Arenal is a 15 minute drive away where you will find a large sandy beach with several cafes, restaurants and shops, volley ball and boat trips.
