Summary: A very relaxing week in a lovely, peaceful location with beaches very nearby and all amenities within a 10 minute walk. The property was clean, welcoming and the views were beautiful. The pool and tennis court were great for our teenage boys and we could easily have spent every day just at the villa. Beaches nearby were great for swimming and boarding. Would highly recommend for a relaxing family break - easy to get to from Bilbao and even closer to Santander - a 20 minute train ride away. Our hosts were present, but very unintrusive and presented us with fresh pears from their trees. Evenings were spent in the pool and then admiring the view across the fields to the sea and watching glorious sunsets. Bird life included swallows, martins, buzzards and eagrets with vultures on a trip towards the Picos.
