Summary: The property owner needs to find a new cleaning crew ASAP! The house was not cleaned well when we arrived. It was slightly spot cleaned, from what I could tell. There was trash left around the house. I dropped my charger behind a dresser and when I moved it there was a LOT of old Kleenex’s and medication packages. One bed had a huge pee spot right in the middle of the bed that soaked all the way to the mattress. I went to wash the sheets and the washing machine had a large amount of old stagnant water in the well, so we had to drain that and wash the inside of the washing machine. The dishwasher didn’t work. The grill was left in horrible shape and was unusable. The yard was not mowed and came up to my daughter’s knees in some areas. The back shed was a safety hazard to say the least and the patio was constantly wet for no reason (it hadn’t rained). The screen on the patio was ripped all over so bugs were everywhere. The house has very few amenities. Bring your own towels, sheets, pillows, kitchen supplies and toiletries. We apparently didn’t fill out a random form sent to us (I told her a few weeks ago that the link never worked and she never sent me a new link) and the owner never checked to make sure we were still coming, so I never got a check-in email and had to contact the host the night we arrived just to get in the house. For the price we paid, I expected so much more. There’s a lot of room in the house but not a comfortable place to stay. Disappointed!
