Summary: From the jump, my experience at the Red Roof in Hendersonville was bad. Check in was posted as 3PM, I arrived at 4:15PM and was told my room was not yet ready. The desk clerk "upgraded" me to a jacuzzi room because they were clean. The room was actually not cleaned yet, so I stood awkwardly in the hall outside of the room while the cleaning woman took care of it. Once I was in, the room had a fresh smell but was still pretty dirty. There was built up dirt and grime behind furniture, stains running down the headboard, hair on the sheets (which should have been fresh). The desk chair in the room was a metal folding chair. The TV remote was partially melted and did not work whatsoever. The whole experience was wild and it was genuinely the worst hotel I've stayed at.
