Summary: We stayed for 2 nights during one of the heatwaves and we're worried the room would be too hot as we knew there wasn't Aircon. The staff had kept the blinds closed and provided a fan which kept the room warm, but comfortable. There was a bit of a wait at reception for a member of staff to appear, but check-in then went smoothly. The room was large and comfortable, as was the bed. Unfortunately on the second day the sheet had come loose and we noticed stains on the part of the sheet that had been tucked in as well as marks on the mattress protector. Recommended bringing your own toiletries, as the shampoo/conditioner, body wash and hand soap all appeared to be the same stuff and did not produce any sort of lather. Breakfast was a nice assortment of cooked and continental and it was lovely to sit in the pub garden to enjoy this. Overall a nice stay in a nice area.
