Enjoy the sunshine and views from the patio and decked area, sit in the summerhouse and look out to sea, and give Fido a run in the paddock.
Wander down the cliff trail to see the seal colony on the beach, pick up The Cleveland Way footpath and The Cinder Track for walks and bike rides, both pass close to the cottage. Explore Ravenscar, once intended to rival Scarborough it became known as ‘the town that never was’. Visit Whitby’s Abbey and 199 Steps (15.5 miles), spend a day pottering around Robin Hood’s Bay (a 4-mile walk or 11-mile drive) and walk from the beach to Boggle Hole (1 mile), once a smugglers’ haunt.
