Summary: Beautiful apartment, clean, new, and location, location, location! This home is located in the woods and is a birders dream! Private and peaceful. You don’t even need to leave the property to see more rare birds because this place is in their habitat and the rare birds are on this property all around you. On the property in the owners woods (which has many trails) I saw common yellowthroats, American redstarts, orioles, warblers, the best was a cerulean warbler) vireos, towhees, indigo buntings, swallows, etc. We did go to Bald Eagle State Park which was only like 15 minutes away and saw many of the same birds at the apartment. We did see a scarlet tanager and an ovenbird too at the park. We attended our son’s girlfriend’s graduation at Penn State University which was conveniently about 10 minutes away. The owners are absolutely wonderful, very friendly and lovely. The apartment was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything more from the place. We are thinking about going in the fall for fall migration and we will definitely stay here! Definitely got some lifers off my list! Happy birding!!
