Summary: We stayed for 5 nights at the end of September and were pleasantly surprised after reading mixed reviews. We booked mainly for the splash park, knowing our 4-year-old would love it — and she did! The pools were clean, there were always sunbeds available, and the splash park was brilliant for little ones. We were full board, and the food exceeded expectations for the price. There was always fresh, varied food being cooked — great salads, fruits, veg, and changing evening dishes. Dessert options weren’t huge but always included ice cream, which my daughter loved. We didn’t use the hotel bars, but queues looked long at times. Our rooms were fine but small for three people, especially compared to our family member’s larger single room. There were some signs of wear and tear, but the lobby and pool areas look recently renovated and well cared for. The only downside was some rowdy guests — including a late-night incident where staff avoided calling police to protect the hotel’s reputation. I felt they should have prioritised guests’ safety. Overall, for the price we paid, it was a great family break — clean, fun, and far better than expected.
