Summary: Firstly I want to thank Pilar and Matias for their hospitality and help while we stayed at their lovely home. Nothing was too much trouble and Pilar suffered my struggling Spanish with valour! Her english is very good so we managed wonderfully. The house and gardens were perfect for us and our two dogs, the dogs loved the gardens and cooling off on the large terrace. There was plenty of room on the drive to park our car which is a very large estate. The kitchen is very well equipped with toaster kettle and for me the obligatory coffee pod machine and the washing area was a godsend. Beds were comfortable bedding plentiful and bathrooms well stocked. The pool was clean and surprisingly warm and a lovely place to spend a few hours. The area was perfect for us because it was quiet and near to a supermarket and bakery and close to roads into Valencia. The local bakery is fantastic and make the best bread and cakes i've tasted in years and were a real treat for us. There was also a great shop on the corner that sold everything you would need for the home plus some silly souvenirs and inflatables for the pool. When we were there a LIDL store was being built on the main road which along with mercadona will give plenty of choice. We loved our stay at this house and only wish we could have stayed for longer. We were made so at home by Pilar and she was always at the end of a phone or email to answer our queries. The whole rental was a complete joy and we left with many wonderful memories.
