The Space:
In a modern and avant-garde building located in the heart of one of Medellín’s most traditional neighborhoods, you’ll find Mauria Local House, an oasis in the city. The space blends with the colors of the surrounding mountains, inspired by nature, the terracotta of traditional paisa homes, and the lush greens of native trees and flora.
Wake up in a cozy queen-size bed with an organic mural as your backdrop and start your day with an authentic cup of Colombian coffee on the balcony—or fire up our small BBQ grill for a typical “asado” with friends.
Don’t miss your favorite shows on our Smart TV, which can be easily rotated to face the living room, bedroom, or even the dining area. The wooden dining table seats four comfortably. The warm and inviting kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils, appliances, and essentials you’ll need for any recipe.
The bathroom features a spacious walk-in closet, and we provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for the perfect relaxing hot shower. Soft, large towels are also included for your comfort.

The Neighborhood:
The style of these streets was french inspired and the core of it all is nature. Its atmosphere is calm, but you can see that there's always something going on. Avoid all tourist traps in this area, embody what "paisa" culture is.
In the mornings, old people fill their streets to look for some shade, in the afternoons College youngsters come alive and at night, adults go out to walk and enjoy the numerous trendy restaurants, boutique stores or just to wander and admire the old traditional houses that transport you to past decades.
