Casa Corinna is situated in an elevated position in a very attractive rural setting amidst an orchard of almond trees in hilly countryside. From the house there are excellent panoramic views of mountains across a beautiful valley visited by a variety of birds including birds of prey.
The house is well equipped. There are two bedrooms, both with air-conditioning/heating, two bathrooms, fitted kitchen, lounge and dining area. The lounge features picture windows with views across the valley. The lounge has a wood burning stove, and a television. The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped. The lounge and kitchen have air-conditioning/heating. The domestic hot water is provided by solar panels, so it is virtually cost free, and there is ideal water pressure for showering. Access to the property is excellent, on sealed roads. Wifi broadband internet access is provided. Guests pay for the electricity they use during their stay at a rate of £0.14/€0,16 per unit. Guests who want the pool heated to coincide with their arrival, pay €100 in cash, when they arrive, towards the cost of pre-heating the water; if the actual cost is less than 100 they will receive a rebate.

The family heated swimming pool is situated to the side of the villa. The surrounding area is beautifully paved with hand crafted stone mosaic. The poolside kitchen building beside the pool is spacious and well equipped with a fitted kitchen, gas grill. Dining table and chairs for five people are provided for eating inside or outside. The wooden pergola offers a shady area. There are spectacular views from the poolside building across the swimming pool towards the surrounding countryside. There is another terrace with a table and chairs for eating outside just near the kitchen door. The two terraces are connected by a path to facilitate access for wheelchair users.
Our village
The village of Villanueva De La Concepcion is a lovely, friendly, safe place where guests may enjoy the lively, festive traditions of a typically vibrant Andalucian village. Within short walking distances there are bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shops and other facilities, such as the recently constructed municipal swimming pool, a large pool in grass lawn surroundings with its open air bar with views towards the Torcal. El Torcal National Park, with its unique natural limestone sculptures and various walking routes, lies above Villanueva and is 20 minutes away by car. Beyond El Torcal the beautiful historic town of Antequera with its many ancient churches, distinctive architecture and prehistoric caves is a 30 minute car journey from Villanueva. El Chorro Gorge, Cordoba, the White Towns, Seville, Granada and Gibraltar are day trips by car. Malaga and Malaga Airport are approximately 45 minutes by car and the drive to Costa Del Sol resorts takes about one hour.

Please note the following information: guests pay for the electricity used during their stay at the rate of €0,14/£0.13 per unit; guests pay a damage deposit in cash on arrival of €300/£250, from which the charge for electricity is deducted, before the cash is returned on departure. Solar panels offset the cost for electricity.
