Positive: Bed and breakfast of this standard was very good value. The Dutch owners have introduced a high standard of furnishings in the ensuite bedrooms and concentrate on working with local suppliers to provide high quality, chef-prepared food. The dining area appears to have a good reputation with locals.

Negative: The on-line check-in system gave the impression you were dealing with a major international corporation, not a friendly village pub and a lot of extra information seemed to be required. The same goes for reserving a table in the evening. Having said all that, the greeting by staff was charming and efficient and service was excellent.

Summary: High quality location for a relaxing overnight stop
