Positive: Staff were excellent. They were all helpful, friendly and natural. Food was good, especially the breakfasts. Location stunning. Although we didn’t have a dog, their warmth and attitude to elderly guests with their pets was a credit to them.

Negative: The ability to turn down the heating in the room would have been a boon. We roasted and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was almost painful! The wooden bed frame creaked all night. The combo didn’t make for a brilliant nights sleep.
