Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was ideal for the castle in a lovely quaint village. Breakfast was excellent along with the evening meals. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Very clean.

Negative: The room was small and awkwardly set out. No wardrobe just 4 hangers on the wall. Couldnt plug in the kettle without putting on the floor as the lead too short to reach a low point. Wash basin in the room, couldn't use the mirror over it as no room with the bedside table and Bed next to it. Small bed. Room noisy due to being right by the stairs and with wooden flooring in the hallway. Window not double glazed and very noisy. Shower tiny, unable to use if you want to keep hair dry unless by leaving the door open and by balancing on the edge. We had room 6 however I do believe they have larger rooms available.

Summary: Very quaint ok for a day or two. Staff and food amazing.
