The accommodation is a newly built house, made with ecological materials for the most part and furnished and decorated with love to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The little house is inside our garden, but it is totally independent. The plot has direct views of the Guadarrama National Park and is a very quiet place, of spectacular beauty.
The accommodation consists of a ground floor with a living / dining room with kitchen and a bathroom, and upstairs a dormer bedroom with a double bed. This room measures, at its highest part, 1.66 meters, so be careful if you make the tiger jump ... Instead, where the sofa bed, in the living room, there is no problem, on the contrary, the ceiling is high.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need (ceramic hob, fridge with freezer, microwave, pans, casseroles, toaster, mixer ...) and there is always some coffee, infusions, organic honey, panela, oil, vinegar, salt .. .
In the lounge there is a Smart TV with Android system, in which you can choose from thousands of movies, series or programs online; And it also has USB and HDMI inputs, in case you want to bring any of these devices.
And there is no need to fear the cold months, because with the pellet stove the little house will be very hot. I will explain its handling, which is very simple, but if you need any help in relation to the stove (or whatever), count on me without problem.
The plot measures 840 m2, and there are different areas to be, which will leave you all the privacy you want. And if you want me to advise you or recommend routes or places to visit, ask me, I will usually be very accessible.
In the garden we have an orchard that is filled with tomatoes in summer, so you can take advantage, if you come at this time, to make tasty salads. You can also pick raspberries, strawberries, apricots, plums, peaches, etc ... It's a pretty wild garden.
In El Boalo and its surroundings you can perform multiple activities: mountaineering, hiking, climbing (La Pedriza is 5 minutes away by car), skiing (in winter and spring), mountain biking, horse riding (there are several horse riding very close to the house), sighting of raptors or wildlife, etc ...
And if you prefer cultural visits, there is also a choice: 3 minutes by car, is the Castle of Manzanares el Real; 30 minutes from the Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial; 45 minutes from La Granja de San Ildefonso… And in 30 minutes you can also reach the Plaza de Castilla in Madrid.
There are very good restaurants in the area, both in El Boalo and in the surrounding villages and if you want me to give you information, you tell me.
A 10 minute walk, or less, is the 724 bus stop, which goes to Plaza de Castilla, in Madrid. And a few meters away, there is the 672 stop that goes to Moncloa, in Madrid.
The truth is that, whenever possible, the stay in this environment will be used more if you come with a car. Especially to go to mountain areas or forests, or to make large purchases of food, etc ...
In the immediate vicinity are most of the large supermarkets and also small local businesses, where you can buy what is necessary for the stay. For organic products, there are several options in the area; Like all kinds of services.
There is a website, in which you can see all the cultural events that there are and will be in the villages of the area. You can keep an eye on it before coming (there are many events always!) and so organize.
The accommodation is newly constructed (2018), using, for the greatest part, environmentally friendly materials and decorated with great care so that your stay will be as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The 'cottage' is within our garden but is totally independent. The grounds offer unobstructed views of the Guadarrama National Park. The spectacular beauty of the place is further enhanced by its tranquility.
The accommodation consists of a ground floor with an open plan cooking, dining and living space as well as a bathroom. Upstairs is an attic bedroom with a double bed. This space measure, at it's highest, 1. 66 meters, so you'll have to be careful if you like acrobatics in the the other hand in the living room, where the sofa bed is located, there's no problem, on the contrary, there the ceiling is high!
The kitchen is fully equipped (ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, pans, blender ....) and for your first breakfast you will always find something delicious so you can start the day on the right foot.
In the living area, there is a Smart TV with Android on which you can choose from thousands of films, series and shows online. It also has USB and HDMI ports if you want to bring your own devices.
And you don't have to worry about the colder months because, thanks to the wood pellet stove, you will be nice and warm, furthermore the stove works silently so you don't need to worry about that either. I will explain how it works but should you need any further help with the stove (or anything else) you can count on me, no problem.
Within the 840m2 plot, there are different areas to relax in, as such you can be sure that we will give you whatever level of privacy you wish for. And if you want advice or recommendations about walking trails or places to visit, just ask because, for the most part, I will be available to help.
In the garden we have a vegetable plot which is full of tomatoes in summer. You are free to help yourselves if you come during this time. You can also pick raspberries, strawberries, apricots, plums, peaches, quite a wild garden.
In El Boalo and the surrounding area there are plenty of activities: mountaineering, trekking, rock climbing, skiing (winter and spring), mountain biking, house riding (there are various stables very close to the house), bird watching and wildlife, etc. ......
And if you prefer cultural visits there also plenty to choose from: 3 minutes by car is the Castle of Manzanares, in 30 mins the Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial, in 45 mins La Granja de San Idelfonso in just 30 mins you can also get to Plaza Castilla in the center of Madrid.
