Positive: Very nice and well equiped apartment. Cleaner did an excellent job, the apartment was spotless. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided for: dishwasher, fridge, even a separte freezer, washing machine, (filter) coffee machine, blender, toaster, you name it, it is in the apartment... Excellent shower with a decent amount of water pressure. Nice loggia-like ’outside’ space. Location : 5 minute walk to the Basauri metro station, bars and a supermarket around the corner.

Negative: The matresses were a little soft for our liking (little support). Kitchen knives were blunt (if you want to do some cooking, bring a knife sharpener ;) Furniture could have been a little less 'cheap'. Parking in the vicinity of the apartment is a bit of a hassle. There are parking spaces along the surrounding streets, but they are mostly occupied. And when one comes available it will only remain free for a few minutes. Besides that, all streets around the apartment are sloped quite a bit, so you need to be able to park your car on a slope, in (sometimes) cramped spaces. Because of the densely packed buildings in the neighborhood, the sounds of the street do resonate quite bit, so at times it can be quite noisy (cars and trucks need quite a bit of throttle to be able to drive up the slopes). Especially at night, when you will want to have the windows open to let the cooler air in (there is no air conditioning in the apartment) the noise can be very noticable. Bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper...
