Positive: The view from the balcony of the room was wonderful and the room itself was a good size, very comfortable, clean and quiet. The bed was comfy and huge. The hotel overall is really nice, with exceptionally friendly staff in all areas. They were probably the highlight for us! The roof bar is great, as is the music (loved the weekend DJ!), and the bar downstairs is also nice enough. We went to the spa and it was almost empty, great facilities and good value for money. The pool was average but no complaints and the jacuzzis up on the roof are a nice touch! Despite many complaining about parking we had no problems and managed to park without issue. Plenty of good breakfast options.

Negative: The rooms are definitely not soundproof. We were lucky in that we had quiet neighbours, but the claim of soundproof isn't true. There are only two lifts and one was broken for the entire duration of our stay (a week) meaning there was only one for the whole hotel. It was annoying and not acceptable to be honest. The only dinner option was a buffet - which is fine if you like that sort of thing, but we don't. There was another restaurant but it was closed and nobody could say when it'd open. This was a shame as we'd have liked the option to eat there in the evening. It'd also have been nice to have coffee facilities in the room - for the price, you'd expect that. The coffee at breakfast was filthy and the roof bar (which had good coffee) didn't open until 10.

Summary: An overall good stay, we'd return!
